TERRY McCALL, Justice.
American Home Assurance Company, Inc. (American Home) and The Travelers Indemnity Company (Travelers) sought a declaratory judgment against the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee (UPLC) that using lawyers who are employees of an insurance company to defend insureds under liability policies was not the unauthorized practice of law by the insurer. They also sought attorney’s fees from the UPLC.
