HORNBY, District Judge.
If students being educated at home wish to participate in interschool athletic contests, must the State let them choose which school to represent? In Maine, parents can educate their children in public schools, private schools, or home schooling. 20-A M.R.S.A. § 5001A (3). 1 Maine also requires that local public high schools allow home-schooled students in their respective attendance areas to participate in their athletic programs. § 5021(5).
