In this construction lien and unjust enrichment case, plaintiff, Edward Karaus (doing busi*11ness as Great Lakes Sea Walls), appeals as of right the trial court’s orders granting summary disposition in favor of defendant, Bank of New York Mellon (hereafter Mellon). For the reasons stated in this opinion, we affirm in part and reverse and remand in part for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
