Defendants Grumman Corporation and Grumman Aerospace Corporation (Grumman) appeal from a judgment entered in favor .of plaintiff Rita Jean Vasina, in the amount of $1,184,270 plus six per cent interest from the date of death, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, after a jury trial before Eugene H.
