Pete and Maggie Defreece sued Wallace and Mary Rankin to recover damages alleged to have been sustained as the result of defendants’ false representations in connection with the purchase by the plaintiffs of a farm in Rio Grande county. The court directed a verdict in favor of defendant Mary A. Rankin and submitted the case against Wallace Rankin to the jury, which returned a verdict for the plaintiffs assessing damages at $3,552.97, for which amount judgment was rendered.
