INTRODUCTION

Dorothy A. Droz appeals from an order denying her motion to discharge, wherein she alleged that her statutory and constitutional rights to a speedy trial were violated.

BACKGROUND

The record before us consists of the transcript and a copy of the trial judge’s “journal entries,” but no bill of exceptions, and reflects the following: On February 27, 2003, Droz was charged by information with two counts of forgery.
