Battell v. Lowery

Appeal from, Appanoose District Court. The plaintiffs recovered a judgment against the defendant Lowery. In the action the defendant Porter was garnished, and judgment was rendered against him, from which he appeals to this court. The facts are stated in the opinion.

The garnishee filed an answer to which the plaintiffs demurred. The District Court sustained the demurrer. The garnishee stood by his answer and judgment was rendered against him.
