Following a bench trial, defendant, Herbert Boclair, was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, and aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 38, pars. 12—14(a)(2), 12—13(a)(2), 12—16(d)), and was sentenced to a maximum prison term of 30 years. On appeal, he has submitted pro se briefs in addition to the briefs filed by the State Appellate Defender.
