A Cobb County jury found Michael Simpson guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of armed robbery, OCGA § 16-8-41 (a); false imprisonment, OCGA § 16-5-41 (a); theft by receiving stolen property, OCGA § 16-8-7 (a); possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, OCGA § 16-11-106 (b); and two misdemeanor traffic violations.
