In June, 1927, plaintiff sold an automobile to one J. A. Stanley under what purported to be a conditional sales contract, but which was clearly a chattel mortgage under the decision of this court in West American Finance Co. v. Finstad, 146 Wash. 315, 262 Pac. 636.
