Plaintiff in error, J. M. Pinch-back, was convicted at the April, 1917, term of the county court of Jefferson county, on the charge of unlawfully carrying concealed weapons, and his punishment fixed at a fine of $25 and imprisonment in the county jail for a period of 20 days. The judgment was entered in the trial court on the 12th day of April, 1917. The appeal was lodged in this court on the 12th day of July, 1917. The Attorney General has filed a motion to dismiss the appeal on the ground that the plaintiff in error did not secure an order from the trial court extending the statutory time…
