The plaintiff, in their petition, averred that John A. Juliani, Inc., and John A. Juliani, were indebted unto them in solido in the sum of $210 for a commission for procuring a contract; that the said John A. Juliani, Inc., and John A. Juliani individually, had acknowledged the indebtedness by the following instrument;
