This is an action of trespass, brought in the Circuit Court of DeWitt County, on June 28, 1887, by the appellee, a girl six years old, who sues by her mother and next friend, against the appellant Company, to recover damages for the removal of appellee, at a place other than a regular station, from a passenger train of cars operated by appellant between Wapella and Clinton in said county, while the appellee was riding thereon as a passenger.
