BENHAM, Justice.

Appellant Steven Zane Teal was convicted of the 2002 malice murder of Lou Ann Shatto and the theft of her motor vehicle. On appeal he contends the trial court erred when it did not limit the number of photographs of the victim admitted into evidence and when it denied his motions to suppress and his motion in limine. He also maintains he was not afforded his right to effective representation of counsel at trial.
