HEANEY, Circuit Judge.
We are asked on this appeal to determine the validity of an Arkansas statute1 which requires the appellant, *1082Potlatch Forests, Inc., to pay its female employees time and a half for all hours worked in excess of eight hours per day.
Potlatch is an Arkansas employer of both male and female employees, who are admittedly covered by both Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S. C. § 2000e et seq.,2 and by the Equal Pay Act, 29 U.S.C. § 206(d).
