Flint Area School Employee Credit Union (Plaintiff or Credit Union) filed this adversary proceeding to object to discharge of credit card debt owed by Debtor Michi No-gami (Defendant or Nogami). $16,006.80 in debt was incurred by credit card transactions on and after December 20, 1987, with virtually all of these charges made during a ten (10) day period with a card having a $2,000 credit limit. After trial, the court finds that this debt was created through actual fraud and that the Credit Union did not act improvidently or encourage…
