After denying Frederick Dorsey's motion to withdraw his guilty plea, the Jefferson Circuit Court imposed a thirty-five-year prison sentence on Dorsey in accordance with the plea agreement. Following sentencing, Dorsey filed a pro se Rule of Criminal Procedure (RCr) 11.42 motion, alleging that he received ineffective assistance of counsel and was coerced into taking the plea.
