In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the *300defendant David Selby appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Price, J.), dated May 27, 1992, which, inter alia, granted the plaintiff’s motion to vacate an order of the same court dated February 18, 1992, which, upon the plaintiff’s default in answering, granted the appellant’s motion to dismiss the complaint insofar as it is asserted against him.
