Larry Mays asserts that the district court erred by upholding the Secretary of Health and Human Services’ decision to deny him social security disability payments. We disagree and affirm.

Larry Mays first sought disability payments on November 21, 1983. He contended that the effects of a neck injury prevented him from working. An initial denial of benefits was remanded by the district court for reconsideration in light of Stone v. Heckler, 752 F.2d 1099 (5th Cir.1985).
