MEMORANDUM OPINION

MARTIN V. B. BOSTETTER, Jr., Bankruptcy Judge.

This matter came on for hearing on the application of Ethan Allen Turshen, Es quire, the trustee for the bankruptcy estate of the debtor, Vernon Sutton. The trustee is requesting the Court, to order the debtor to turn over the sum of $6,800.00 representing the equity proceeds of the debtor’s residence sold by foreclosure sale. Prior to the foreclosure sale the trustee abandoned the debtor’s residence. 1 The debtor, in his original petition, did not list his residence as being exempt in the homestead deed filed therewith.
