| Appellant, Ulises Arroyo, Jr., appeals from the denial of his petition for postcon-viction relief pursuant to Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37. Appellant was convicted of possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug premises, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, for which he was sentenced to a total of twenty-nine years’ imprisonment.
