This case involves the failure to file a timely petition for review with the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals.
The facts are undisputed. In 1975, Effie M. Sowers sustained an industrial injury while working at Twin City Foods, Inc. On October 29, 1980, a hearing examiner issued a proposed decision and order granting Mrs. Sowers 40 percent instead of the requested 100 percent disability award. The decision was promptly mailed.
