TOWNSEND, Circuit Judge.

On or about June io, 1897, J. Burnett Nash began an action in the superior court of the state of Connecticut, for the county of Middlesex, against the Worcester Cycle Manufacturing Company, by virtue of a writ directing the attachment of the defendant’s property. By virtue of said writ the sheriff levied upon and attached all of defendant’s property, both real and personal, within said Middlesex county, and took possession of all of its personal property.
