Robert Ashley Morgan was convicted of theft by receiving stolen property and giving false information to a police officer by a Newton County jury. Morgan was sentenced as a recidivist to ten years, six of which to be served in confinement and the balance on probation. On appeal, Morgan challenges the denial of his motions for directed verdict on the theft charge.
