The purpose of the bill filed in this case was to* have declared null and void a deed of trust to one O. B. Fuqua, appearing on the records of the Corporation Court of the city of Boanoke, to secure to the Lynchburg Trust and Savings Bank, of Lynchburg, Va., a corporation, the payment of the sum of $1,500, evidenced by one negotiable note payable three years after date, and the interest thereon payable semi-annually, evidenced by separate notes of $45.00 each, upon the ground that both this deed of trust and the notes it secured were forgeries.
