Dale filed his bill in chancery in the Circuit Court of Alachua County, Florida, against Wiliam Jennings, seeking to enforce a vendor's lien upon certain real and personal property in Alachua and other counties in this State, or in lieu of such lien to require Jennings to execute in favor of Dale a certain promissory note secured by a mortgage on said property.
