Cameron A. Holmes appeals his conviction for manslaughter and carrying a concealed weapon. He raises six issues, five of which we affirm without discussion. We write to address his contention that the trial court erred in denying his motions in limine and allowing evidence that he was a drug dealer and that police found drugs in his room on the date of his arrest. We hold this evidence of his drug dealing was inextricably intertwined with evidence of the crime and, further, that it was relevant to explain his state of mind when he returned armed to the scene of an earlier altercation with the…
