ELLETT, Chief Justice:

The appellant was the defendant below. He was charged with the crime of murder in the second degree and found guilty of the included offense of manslaughter and was duly sentenced for that crime. He appeals claiming errors as follows:(1) The trial court erroneously permitted statements made by deceased to be admitted in evidence.(2) The trial court permitted evidence that tended to show the defendant had committed another crime prior to the one with which he was charged.(3) There was insufficient evidence to permit the jury to consider the matter.
