Appellee sued on a policy of fire insurance issued by the appellant, and recovered a verdict “on the policy of insurance in the sum of $1,992.37, and the further sum of $500.00 attorney fees,” on which a judgment was rendered for said amounts. Appellant duly filed its motion for a new trial and reserved an exception to the order overruling it, filed its bill of exceptions within the time allowed by the court, and perfected a term appeal.
