Plaintiffs bring this petitory action against defendant seeking to be declared the owners of a tract of land situated in Section 54, Township 4 South, Range 3 East, and Sections 53 and 5, Township 5 South, Range 3 East, Greensburg Land District, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, containing 54.2 acres and forming one contiguous tract. The trial court rendered judgment in favor of the plaintiffs and against the defendants (the original defendant, Walker Y. Ronaldson died subsequent to the filing of the answer, and his surviving widow and two children were substituted as party…
