Plaintiff, Nathaniel Yorke, as trustee of the bankrupt estate of Vinylclad, Inc. (plaintiff), sued defendant B.E Goodrich Company (defendant) in a complaint filed in the circuit court of Du Page County on June 21, 1982. The complaint alleged that defendant breached an oral contract entered into between the parties more than six years earlier on April 7, 1976, wherein defendant agreed to provide technical assistance in the plaintiff’s operation of certain extruders. Plaintiff alleges that as a result of the breach, plaintiff’s extruders were damaged and it was unable to meet its production…
