In a complaint filed in Superior Court alleging breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and other tortious acts, appel-lee Lawrence K. Beaupre, a former editor of The Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, sued the Enquirer, Gannett Satellite Network, and other parties for actions, which he asserts, ultimately caused the unlawful *36termination of his employment and other consequential injuries.
