Varner Corry was indicted in the criminal court of Cook county for the murder of Edward Erancis Smith. He pleaded not guilty, waived a trial by jury, was found guilty by the court and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for eighteen years. He prosecutes this writ of error.
