Mark Allen Pugliese was convicted by a jury of murder as a principal in the second degree and robbery. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the convictions.
On May 19, 1990, Arthur P. Beckmann, Jr. left his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to go to Louisville, Kentucky. On his way, he picked up a hitchhiker, Eugene Davis. The two were later seen at a Winchester, Virginia bank where Beckmann took a twelve hundred dollar cash advance on his credit card.
