Maud Lindley, a married woman, resides in the city of Chicago, where she keeps a rooming house. Her husband either conducts or works in a plumbing shop in Kokomo, Indiana. Mrs. Lindley was indicted in the criminal court of Cook county in June, 1917, some of the counts of the indictment charging her with the larceny of an automobile on October 28, 1916, and others charging her with buying, receiving and aiding in concealing an automobile that had been stolen from its owner, well knowing said property had been stolen.
