The plaintiff in error, defendant below, filed a petition in the State court of original jurisdiction for the removal of this suit into, the Circuit Court of the United States for the- Southern District of Mississippi. The petition was accompanied by a bond, with good and sufficient surety, conditioned as required by the statute. The application for removal was denied, and the court,, against the protest of the company, proceeded with the trial of the suit.
