These defendants were convicted of the crime of the first degree murder of Amy Allice Burridge under § 6 — 54(b), W.S.1957, 1975 Cum.Supp., and based thereon the trial court sentenced them to death as required by the statute. 1

Appellants pursue this appeal, contending that the statute under which they were sentenced is unconstitutional under both the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Wyoming, and the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution of the United States.
