Joseph A. Gilíes appeals the circuit court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the Missouri Department of Corrections (“MDOC”) on Gilles’s petition for declaratory judgment. Gilíes contended in his petition that the MDOC erred in calculating that he had three or more prior commitments on two separate cases, requiring him to serve a minimum of eighty percent of his sentence before he is eligible for release under section 558.019. 1 Gilles’s sole point on appeal, as stated in his point relied on, is that the trial court erred in granting summary judgment for the MDOC…
