Defendant was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He pleaded not guilty and filed a motion to suppress evidence found during the warrantless search of his backpack. The trial court denied the motion, and defendant was found guilty of one count of possession of LSD after a trial to the court on stipulated facts.
