The commissioner reports that George W. Foster died November 1, 1885 ; that on or about November 15 George B. Foster was appointed special administrator of his estate, and on the 30th he was appointed administrator. George W. had transacted business with two, firms of brokers in New York City, one of which at once paid to the special administrator the amount due the estate, four thousand five hundred forty dollars and seventy-nine cents.
