Liuafi Liuafi, Jr., (hereinafter Liuafi) appeals from a conviction of attempted murder, in violation of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) §§ 705-500 (1976) and 707-701 (1976), and of failure to render assistance, in violation of HRS § 291C-12 (1976).
