STEWART, Circuit Judge:

This is a contract case in which the district court granted partial summary judgment in favor of plaintiff McDonald’s Corporation, holding that the defendants, Joe L. Watson and Lashon Enterprises, infringed McDonald’s trademark between the date McDonald’s served its complaint on the defendants and the date the defendants surrendered the McDonald’s restaurants. The district court also enjoined the defendants from interfering with the operations of the restaurants and submitted the issue of damages to the jury.
