In this 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action, plaintiffs Tenisha Felio, as surviving spouse, and John Tomlinson, as administrator of the estate of James Felio, appeal the district court’s grant of summary judgment to the defendants on the federal claims for excessive use of deadly force and the state law claim for wrongful death. James Felio, although unarmed, was shot and killed during an interaction with defendants Officer Christopher Hyatt and Officer Karl Hydrick of the defendant City of Law-renceville Police Department.
