DENISON, District Judge.
The petitioner, Samuel Lewis, came from Russia, to this country, entering at the port of New York, and regularly passing inspection, on September 20, 1904. He lived in, or in the vicinity of, New York; until March, 1910, when he came to Detroit, where he has since made his home, and worked as a painter and paper hanger, and it is undisputed that he was industrious and orderly and in no trouble until November 17, 1910.
