Kurilla Ex Rel. Kurilla v. Roth

The complaint charges the defendant with negligence in the operation of his automobile on September 26th, 1942. The sheriff’s return certifies service of the summons and complaint upon defendant on July 6th, 1943, “by leaving a copy of same with his mother, at his usual place of abode, 23 East Eussell Street, Clifton, New Jersey.” This was the residence of defendant’s mother and stepfather.
