In Mjarch, 1902, the parties to this action were duly married in the town of Braelov, Empire of Russia. On December 21, 190Y, they, being at the time Russian sub*369jeets and domiciled in Braelov, appeared before a rabbi in the town of Shargorod, where the defendant then happened to be, and according to the Jewish and Russian laws were divorced. Each at the time received from the rabbi a certificate of such divorce. The surviving issue of their marriage is one child of the age of six years.
