Following a trial by jury, Roger Alcantara Reyes was convicted on separate counts of possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. On appeal, he contends the evidence was insufficient to support the convictions and that the trial court erred by denying his motion to suppress evidence obtained during a traffic stop. We hold that the evidence presented at trial, including the proceeds of the vehicle search, was sufficient to sustain the convictions, but remand the case to the trial court for further consideration of the validity of the vehicle search executed after the valid…
