On October 20, 1921, one Frank P. Pastel was arrested upon a warrant issued upon a complaint charging him with burglary and larceny and was taken before A. Thatcher, a justice of the peace. The transcript of the justice shows this docket entry: “Defendant Frank Pastel arrested October 20th. Cash bond for $1,000 given for his appearance March 20th, 1922, before the grand jury. ’ ’ When said Frank Pastel was taken before the justice by the sheriff he was accompanied by his brother, Charles Pastel.
