This appeal is from a judgment of the district court of Garvin county, wherein the defendant, Tom Parkey, was convicted of rape alleged to have been committed in said county, according to the allegations of the information, on or about the 14th day of February, 1932, upon one Pauline Solley, an unmarried female person under the age of 16 years and of the age of 15 years past; said defendant being over 18 years of age, and of the age of 26 years; said judgment having been rendered January 7, 1935, in pursuance of a verdict of the jury finding him guilty as charged and fixing his punishment at…
