The suit was for a balance of $490.53 and interest from January 1, 1910, alleged to he due from appellant to ap-pellee, who was the plaintiff. It was commenced by a petition filed in the district court October 14, 1911, which was after the act approved March 13, 1911 (General Laws, p. 95), conferring upon said district court jurisdiction in civil cases theretofore in the county court of Plarrison county, took effect. It was tried in said district court in February, 1917, or more than three years after the act approved March 28, 1913 (General Laws, p. 103), restoring to said county court…
